Eligibility Criteria for CSIR UGC NET 

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender).
• Final-year Master’s students are eligible but must complete their degree with the required marks within two years.

Age Limit (as of February 2025):

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Maximum 30 years (relaxation applicable for reserved categories).
• Assistant Professor/Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit.
