Selection Process

  1. Written Examination:

    • Total Marks: 200
    • Duration: 2 hours (2 hours 40 minutes for PwBD candidates)

      • General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks)
      • English Language (100 questions, 100 marks)
    • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer
  2. Proficiency Test in Stenography:
    • Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 words per minute (English/Hindi)
    • Transcription Time: 50 minutes for English, 65 minutes for Hindi
    • The proficiency test is qualifying, and the final merit list will be based on written exam scores.
