Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- A government-recognized diploma in computer operation is required.
Age Limit (as of August 1, 2024)
- General (Male): 18-25 years
- BC/EBC (Male): 18-27 years
- BC/EBC (Female): 18-28 years
- SC/ST (Male/Female): 18-30 years
- Age relaxation applies for government employees and ex-servicemen as per rules.
Selection Process
- Written Test:
- Two objective question papers:
- Paper I: General Hindi (100 marks, duration: 1.5 hours)
- Paper II: General Knowledge and Reasoning (200 marks, duration: 2 hours)
- Skill Test:
- Shorthand Test: Minimum speed of 80 WPM in Hindi, with a transcription speed of 30 WPM on a computer.
- Typing Test: Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM in Hindi.
- Merit List:
- Prepared based on scores from the written test and skill test.
